Let’s read Romans chapter 12!

We are at Romans chapter 12! I thank God for His mercies and grace. It is His mercies that keep us. Romans chapter 12 has 21 verses. It takes us deeper into the realization of the simple gift we should offer to God as gratitude for all the many gifts He avails to us. In-fact, this single gift we are to give Him is not for His benefit but for ours. It’s a privilege to give this gift. We also see the marks of a true Christian. The checks and balances we may use to determine how much we have allowed the Lord to grow into and work within us.

You may read through the entire chapter 12 on your own, first, then return to read through my summary which follows immediately after this paragraph. Feel free to comment elements of your own revelations. I look forward to reading through them!

In God’s move, we have been availed two aspects of the miracle of salvation. The first aspect is the objective salvation that characterizes us to become children of God and Christians with a righteousness that is of faith and rooted in Christ, amen. The second aspect is the subjective salvation which involves us taking this life that has been purchased for us, this resurrection life of Christ, and living our daily living through this life. This aspect characterizes us as maturing sons of God. As overcommers, amen.

Living this subjective salvation first involves the transformation of our minds, where we drop our minds, emotion and will, and let the resurrection power flow from the Life-giving Spirit in our spirit, through our spirit, to our souls; where the mind, emotion and will of Christ becomes prevalent in us.

The transformation of our souls by the renewing of our minds causes us to begin to see things differently. No longer according to the natural way of seeing things, but rather, according to the Godly way of seeing things. We become more humbled, more caring, more focused, more generous, more faithful, etc. And these are not qualities that are issuing from us. These would be qualities issuing from Christ living in us, through us.

This is the miracle of the regeneration. Where everyone who is now under the yoke of Christ becomes of the same mind with Christ and thus, same mind with all other believers. Everyone becomes one entity. One body, thinking and working under the leading of Christ, our head, amen.

May the Good Lord help us to be open to Him. To surrender ourselves to Him so that He can overtake us and express Himself fully through us, amen.
